how do i use a marching snare drum stand?
I've got a Pearl snare drum and a Pearl marching snare drum stand: one that has three legs, two connected and one free, so it can be used in the stands at football games. However, i have no idea how to keep the drum on the stand without the stand falling over from the weight. Help needed asap! Thanks!
That one's kind of tricky 'cause I'd have to see your setup to actually be of any help! Some suggestion I might have:
There should be some kind of way to secure that "floating" leg. Try to secure it at the same height as the 2 other one.
the post that hold the snare should be angled. If you try to keep it straight it will indeed tip over under the weight.
