Lightning Plasma
Could lightning be a differnt color on other planets?
lightning on our planet is white with a blue tinge. This is caused by the ignition of atmospheric gases creating plasma during a strike. but is it possible that it could be a differnt color if the atmospheric gases were composed differntly from our planet. For instance could lightning be red green or orange?
You're right it all depends on the gases in the atmosphere of that planet.
