Where's a good site to get Custom Contact Lens for Halloween?
Hi, I'm thinking about getting some custom contact lens for halloween this year. Anyone know of a good one that they would recommend, and do i need a prescription from an optometrist, I have 20/20 vision for the record. Thanks.

Make sure you get them from a reputable site, because there are plenty of knockoff or cheap special effect lenses. These ones are FDA approved, so they are made the same way as regular colored lenses are made. There's lots of different styles, so depending on how much you want to spend, you can get some pretty amazing hand-painted ones.
If you order custom ones, make sure you order them in advance because they do take longer. The ones my bf got were not the hand painted ones so they only took a few days to arrive.
As for the optometrist question: YES you should always talk to an optometrist and make sure you are OK to wear contact lenses, whether you need vision correction or not. Remember that these are your eyes and you should be very careful what you put on them!
